Setting and Using Tabs
Tabs are really a hangover from the days of the typewriter
but there are still people who want to use Tabs to make perfect
columns. These days, it is simpler and more efficient to use Tables
(with invisible borders).
Here is an example of that uses Tabs in Microsoft Word:

You will note the neat arrangement of data in columns. This has
been achieved by "setting tabs".
The best way to learn setting Tabs is to go to Format on
the menu, then click on Tabs.
